Dear Ringwood Community,
The Ringwood Board of Education wishes to establish an Ad-Hoc-Committee to focus on
streams of recurring revenue for our district. The intention of the committee is for discussion
and brainstorming purposes and will meet monthly, or as needed, on Zoom or in person. The
recommendations and discussion ideas of the Committee will be presented to the Board, and any
plans that would qualify for a decision that falls under the Board's responsibility must be voted
on by the Board. The Ad-Hoc Committee and committee members must be reappointed yearly
by the Board of Education President.
The committee will not be looking at areas or services to be reduced or eliminated from the
budget. Any reductions in services are considered operational and must be recommended by the
Chief School Administrator and the Business Administrator.
The committee of 15 will consist of:
One PTO Member from each Ringwood Public School (four in total)
Four Board of Education Trustees
Five At-Large Ringwood Community Members
Dr. Kevin Brentnall, Superintendent of Ringwood Schools
Mr. Paul Roth, Interim Business Administrator
We are currently looking for five community members to join the committee. If you would like
to be on the committee, please send a letter of interest to Patrick T. Diamond, President of the
Ringwood Board of Education. The letter can be emailed to diamondp@njrps.org with the
subject line reading "Revenue Committee".
Sincerely,
Patrick T. Diamond
President, Ringwood Board
